Welcome Back Cookout and Bonfire

Pack 801 welcomes back our returning Cub Scouts, any boys interested in Scouting, and their families, with our annual Cookout & Bonfire at LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve. We'll gather for a Meet & Greet at the pavilion at 5:00, with dinner starting at 5:45, and the bonfire to follow. There is no charge for anyone to attend!

It's Popcorn Time Again!

As in years past, Pack 801's primary fundraising activity this year will be the sale of Trail's End popcorn. We're looking forward to our best year ever! Scouts may begin selling popcorn starting on September 1. Please see the attached letter for complete details, and thank you for your support of Pack 801!

Train Ride with Union Pacific Railroad

Pack 801 families are invited to take a ride on the railroad! Union Pacific Railroad will take us on a chartered trip from West Chicago to Belvidere and back. During the trip, we will learn about public safety around railroad tracks and crossings as we watch and listen to an "Operation Lifesaver" presentation by Union Pacific.

Webelos Overnight Scheduled for September 24-25

The Webelos Overnight is an annual event presented by Fox Valley District, for those who are or will be Webelos Scouts this fall. This year they will be offering the Naturalist, Outdoorsman, Readyman and Forester Activity Badges. This is a great opportunity to spend some quality time outdoors with your son including spending a night in a tent. The staff will be providing a snack (crackerbarrel) on Friday night (you should have dinner before you arrive). Breakfast and Lunch on Saturday will also be provided as part of the program.

Registration Is Now Open for Raging Waves Waterpark

We invite you to take the plunge and visit Raging Waves Waterpark for a day of fun for the entire family! On Saturday, July 17, Pack 801 scouts, families, and friends can spend the day at Illinois' largest waterpark at special discounted group rates.
