Posted on Oct 10 2021 - 8:14am

In honor of Veteran's Day, join the Bear Den and Pack 801 on our own 5k walk supporting the Wounded Warrior Project. It will take place at Cantigny Park in Wheaton. Cantigny Park will waive the $5 parking cost as long as scouts wear their Class A uniform and tell the attendant they are participating in a Pack 801 event. We will meet at 9:15 and begin the walk at 9:30 am.

Anyone can join the walk, however, if you or anyone else in your family would like to register, officially join our "Pack 801" squad and receive your own swag bag. Details are listed below. By registering, not only are our fees 100% donated to the Wounded Warrior Project but our scouts will also receive a drawstring bag, 5K bib, flag and medal for being a registered participant. Please note that it takes about 3 weeks to receive the swag bag.

As a registrant, you also have the opportunity to use facebook to fundraise for the WWP. Fundraising is not required but available should you wish to do so.
