Congrats to the Cosmic Cows

Posted on Feb 23 2026 - 11:17am

Congrats to the Cosmic Cows!

What an incredible journey it has been watching this den grow from Lions all the way through Arrow of Light. Your leadership, teamwork, laughter, and spirit have made Pack 801 proud.

To those Scouts crossing over to Troop 46, we are excited to see you begin your next adventure in Scouting America. Keep challenging yourselves, supporting one another, and living the Scout Oath and Law every day.

To those who are not moving on to a troop, thank you for the energy and memories you brought to our Pack. We hope the skills, friendships, and confidence you built here stay with you wherever your path leads.

No matter where you go next, you will always be part of the Pack 801 family.

We wish you the very best in all your future adventures!

Popcorn Season Starts 8/16!

Posted on Sep 8 2025 - 2:52pm

It’s that time of year! Popcorn Selling!!!!

This is our annual fundraising event – we sell popcorn to help offset costs that we incur throughout the school year. This is also the opportunity for you to be reimbursed for your activity fee and your recharter fee.

We encourage all scouts to sell popcorn! Scouts can sell by going door to door in their neighborhood, they can sell online to friends and family, and they can sign up to sell in front of stores.

The Popcorn Kernel (Lisa Perrault) will be reviewing popcorn sale details at our next Pack meeting on August 26th.

In the meantime, download the app (Trails End) onto your phone and set up your scout’s account.

You will be able to sign up for storefronts through the app starting on August 16th. Our Pack will have our popcorn inventory on August 24th. You will be able to pick up inventory to sell to friends, family and at storefronts beginning on August 24th.

Please review the Popcorn Sales Info tab on the Pack website: CLICK HERE

If you have any questions or need additional information, please reach out to our Pack’s Popcorn Kernel, Lisa Perrault at 630-632-1466 or lperrault619@gmail.com.

What is the Blue and Gold Celebration?
The Blue and Gold Celebration is an annual event celebrated by Cub Scout packs in the Boy Scouts of America, primarily to mark the founding date of Scouting on February 8th, 1910, essentially acting as a "birthday party" for the organization; it's often a time to recognize achievements, award badges, and include a special ceremony for AOL Scouts transitioning to Boy Scouts, all while incorporating the colors blue (representing truth and loyalty) and gold (representing happiness and good cheer) which are significant to Scouting values.
