Popcorn officially began in mid August. Your scout can sell using the order form, selling product directly during Show and Sells, and/or via the Trails End website. Sign up for Show and Sells on the pack website, only taking 1 per scout. We will open up the opportunity for more slots in a couple weeks. There are also dates to pick up popcorn for show and sells so make sure you come to one of those days. Check out the "Popcorn Sales Info" link on the website for more info!

Recharter Fee Due at September Pack Meeting

Posted on Aug 28 2021 - 9:07pm

Recharter is due at the SEPTEMBER PACK MEETING! In previous years, we collected Recharter fees a little later, but now that BSA has moved to a November-October fiscal year, we have to submit our Recharter info and payment in October. The fees to Recharter with BSA are $132 for the year ($144 if you would like the Scout’s Life Magazine subscription). I know it seems high, but it really only comes out to $11 per month, and is probably a lot cheaper than most sports in our area! Please either bring a check to the Pack Meeting on the 14th, drop a check at 3N777 Arbor Creek Dr, pay on the pack801.org website under Online Payments, or bring your credit card to the Pack Meeting and pay by Square. (Paying on website or square will have a small fee.) Thank you for your timely payment, and welcome to another great year of scouting!

SERVICE PROJECT at Ferson Creek Park - RUSTY RODEO!

Posted on Aug 6 2021 - 7:16am

Date: August 7th
Time: 11:00 AM

Location: Ferson Creek Park

Forest Preserve District of Kane County presents Rusty Rodeo!

There are underwater invaders in our local streams and rivers and we want you to help us find them! Our culprit is the Rusty Crayfish, a tiny aquatic creature that is an invasive species in Kane County. Help Naturalists round up some rowdy Rusty Crayfish in an effort to reduce their numbers. Families are encouraged to join us in the water with dip nets to collect, identify and remove some Rusties. You might even find the biggest of these varmints or collect the greatest number of them.

Prepare to get wet! Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get muddy.
